Bambrella and the Environment
Bambrella is a certificate holder of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) scheme, where we work together to source our bamboo through FSC certified forests.
The Forest Stewardship Council have been certifying bamboo forests since 2008, and Bambrella feels passionately that bamboo forests need to be managed and cared for responsibly. We can guarantee that our bamboo is well-managed and protects local communities and natural wildlife.
We, at Bambrella, can vouch that the materials we use to produce the parasols are 100% recyclable. As a manufacturing company, it’s part of our responsibility to keep the impact of manufacturing on the environment to a minimum, and we work with international partners who are willing to adhere to our high levels of welfare, far exceeding local labour standards.
Other associations that we are members of:
– Leisure & Outdoors Furniture Association (LOFA).
– World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), with whom we register all of our designs with.
– WWF Business Club
Overall, Bambrella wants to work towards the mission of conserving biological diversity and to promote sustainable use of natural resources, to overall reduce wasteful consumption, pollution and carbon emissions.
